Why did you choose XU?

I chose XU because I was mainly interested about the course “Coding and Software Engineering”.  I did not want a course that was mainly theoretical. XU emphasizes practice along with theory to better understand. This a an important part as a preparation for the working life in the future.

Why did you choose your course of studies?

I was always fascinated of how lines of letters and numbers can create such amazing softwares. We live in a digital age where technology is developing so quickly and increasingly gets involved in our lives. Therefore, I checked out programming in the internet and tried to code basic beginner things. I found out that it was really fun. Now, I want to study this field to build my own software and keep up with the technology.

What was important to you when choosing your place to study?

The small size of the classes, where lecturers knows everyone and is able to closely advise every individual. Since the University is focusing on digitalization, the courses become modernized and the University is always open to changes.
