3 questions, 3 answers to the students of XU, this time with Vincent, student of Coding and Software Engineering. With the Hashtag #xustudentlife, our students will also be giving insights into their student lives in our Instagram story in the coming months. In the next two weeks, it will be Benjamin, Anita, Felix and Viktor.

Why did you choose XU?

I chose XU, because I liked the idea, that it’s more focused on the really important stuff, that they are thinking about the future and helping the students to find their own way, with a lot of their partners. Also, the vibe here is extremely chill, it feels like one big family.

Why did you choose your course of studies?

Personally, I found it very important to understand the modern technology and that you have to go with it. So, I got myself into basic html and JavaScript. After some time I didn’t know what to study yet and therefor I did some research and thought about computer science, which was the best for me, because I was into it for years!

What was important to you when choosing your place to study?

Coding at the XU is a lot more practical than the normal computer science at universities, although you have some of the same courses, you go instant into coding and you have business courses, which could help you later, if you want to start your own company.
