I like to challenge myself and to get out of my comfort zone, which I definitely have to do whilst studying at XU.

3 questions, 3 answers to the students of XU, this time with Felix, student of Coding and Software Engineering. With the Hashtag #xustudentlife, our students will also be giving insights into their student lives in our Instagram story in the coming months. In the next two weeks, it will be Felix, Mona, Annika and Karima.

Why did you choose XU?

Because I really liked the concept of putting things into practice more than just learning for a test. This futuristic approach and that the XU is just different in a very positive way was one of the main reasons to choose XU over other classic universities. Also the very welcoming team and the fact that you meet very inspiring people was the key factor when choosing XU. Furthermore the XU has an open, welcoming and modern campus and is always trying to improve their courses and lecturers to achieve the best possible outcome for the students.

Why did you choose your course of studies?

Hence I have always enjoyed coding and wanted to learn new concepts and techniques now. Further you gain a lot of background knowledge about what it takes to design, develop and build a digital solution. Also you are always learning new content rather than old stuff.

What was important to you when choosing your place to study?

I didn’t just wanted to learn new things and techniques, but also to try them out and use them. Also I really like working in a team. Further I like to challenge myself and to get out of my comfort zone, which I definitely have to do whilst studying at XU. In addition I wanted to choose a course of studies that has a future.
